| Christmas & New Year's Eve
2001 |
| We provided a buffet party for Christmas ( 23/Dec./2001)
and for the New Year's Eve (31/Dec./2001). Here
we show our buffet a bit just for reference. |
 |
When we provide a buffet style
dinner, we decorate our counter bar a bit.
Candles, glasses for wine and others are
already provided there. |
|
 |
Buffet for Christmas. Usually
we provide 8-10 plates for a buffet. As
all guests were non-Japanese people, we
adjusted the taste along their flavor. Roasted
beef, marinated smoke salmon, egg hors d'oeubre,
fried chicken, grilled rice, potato salad,
stick vegitables, some fruits and home made
cakes. |
|
|
|
Our drink cooler that looks
like a baby buggy ( perambulator). It works
only when we provide some buffet. Some drinks
(beer, juices) are in it, wines are usually
on the counter. They are included in the
rates and if you still need some to drink
after all gone or want some which are not
provided there are on your expense. |

Buffet for new year's eve.
Japanese guests and non-Japanese guests
were 50:50. Roasted beef, fried chicken,
marinated smoked salmon, rolled sushi, stick
vegitables, some fruits etc etc..... |
|
 |
Someone thinking about what
they would take.Concerning rolled sushi,
most non-Japanese guests asked what was
inside. Probably it's rare to have raw fish
abroad..... |
|
 |
When we have both Japanese
and non-Japanese people as our guests, language
barrier always makes them apart. Maybe no
one tries but they usually don't share a
table each other because of the language
barrier (maybe? ) |
|
 |
Japanese kids tried to destroy
the language barrier! They tried to show
some magic introducing themselves in English
by themselves. We just helped to translate
what was going on when they show the magic.
They talked about their plan each other
who would do what before they tried. |
|
 |
Every kid introduced themselves
in English like "My name is ****, ++ (years
old) !" |
|
 |
The magic was like this...
First of all, one of them put some 100 yen
coins in a small receptacle then put a lid
then shook it some times... when he opened
the receptacle, the 100 yen coins were not
there!! People wondered where the 100 yen
coins!?!?!?!? |
|
 |
People seriously wondered
what was going on and where the 100 yen
coins.....The kid was checked his sleeves. |
|
 |
At another table, they showed
the same magic. They received warm applause.
|
|
 |
People seriously wondered what
was going on and where the 100 yen coins.....The
kid was checked his sleeves. |
|
| We don't provide buffet style party so often.
Regularly for Christmas and New year's Eve. And
when some people make a whole house reservation
to us, depends on their request we provide a buffet
style party for dinner. If you are interested
