Antique snowblower remembrance.
|
Buddy da antique snowblower
|
|
Actually I didn't know how often I had thought why
this antique snowblower bothered me that a lot.
Not easy to control at all, too heavy ( around
500kgs - 1,100lbs ) to pull out of snow when
it got too deep in snow and the caterpillar
got raced there etc..... Sometimes really wanted
to kick it, but could not do it. It was kinda
buddy for me to survive winter. And exactly
no one else could handle it right because it
needed us to handle all by hand to change auger
height, shooter direction etc. Needed too complicated
operations at the same time and also needed
some sensitive adjustment. And sometimes it
was really hard to understand this snowblower.
Rarely the engine suddenly stopped on removing
snow, sometimes it stopped running. As if a
veteran makes fun of newbies. Really vice!!
Perhaps it was similar with me. But in some
particular situation for example I had to remove
snow when it snowed hard mindinig the beginning
time to cook holding full hourse reservation
with a lot of guests, it anyway didn't stop
if I shouted loud like "Don't stop, please...
please don't stop for today... please don't
stop.. PLEASE!!!!! " That's why I had thought
this snowblower being kinda buddy. But it seemed
to get too old to keep working as an active
one. Some parts to repair got not available
any more.
Snowblowers are danger stuff. I got stitched my index
finger 5 of my right hand because I tried to check the
inside shooter making sure all stuff got stopped, but
a propella there still worked a bit! That was in February
2000. I did be careful all the time, but accidents always
happen when we are lacking a bit of attention.
Now my buddy was to leave me today 10th March 2002.
Much better for it than gets scrapped. I'm sure the
new owner will be able to care for it good. But anyway
it left me, now I don't have it with me any more. Probably
I will get another one by the next winter. This is kinda
remembrance of my buddy the antique snowblower...........
