Autumn leaves are awesome! Red and yellow leaves come down mountains.

Autumn foliage is one of awesome scene in Hakuba. The colder the temperture at night and morning get, the clearer they get.
--Some turn to red, some turn to yellow, some turn to orange and other s don't turn their color. So real good contrast.

Lake Aoki. 7minutes drive from our place. In proportion to the temperture difference between daytime and night, leaves get red and yellow clearly.

Our inn is located at 740meters in altitude, but you can enjoy autumn foliage from the end of September as a lot high mountains are right there! When snow gets at the top of mountains, sometimes we can enjoy 3 colors of view - white of snow, red and yellow leaves at the halfway up of mountains and green leaves at the bottom - in October.
