-Mike, Bill, Hayaokidori
inn master Masaki and Kay (Left to right) visited
Hakuba Goryu and Hakuba 47 ski slopes on a fine day
in March 2008. It was very fine, almost no clouds
in the sky, also not so many crowds in the ski slopes
:-) ( I hope I made a good rhyme : Cloud and crowd
)
-Mike told me he didn't
expect Japan had this much snow. Wow, we have to promote
a lot more!

Lifts were in service good, no queue at all. Symbolick
Hakuba 3 mountains are just in front of you! |
 |
| View of Mt.Goryu from a lift
ride. Though we have many Yukishiro ( snow marks ) at
the surface of mountains here, this Goryu-bishi ( 4
diamond shape ones at the top of Mt.Goryu) is one of
rare one we can find through the year. Other yukishiros
are visible from Spring time, not in winter time. It
looks like almost a backcountry world all over, but
you need to be careful to try backcountry. Avalanches
happened in this ski slopes on March 2nd 2008. |

At Goryu alps daira. You can see Japan sea when it's
very fine and clear day. Unfortunately we didn't see
Japan sea this time. But we found Togakushi ski slope
at the East direction, Togakushi is famous for its
Ninja legend. ( Ninja : secret spys in feudal Japan
)
We took some clips, watch them out at our English
Blog.
Thanks Mike, Bill and Kay, I had a wonderful day!
